AV Tech - Springfield's Home Theater Specialists
The biggest differences in sound within in a room come from two main areas, the room and the speakers. The majority of your audio budget should be spent in these two areas. The room and the speakers interact and getting the right speaker for your application is very important. Here are some of our picks.

Our Entry Level system and is nicknamed the Bose Killer. Compare to an Acoustimass 10. The Episode 300 series has better bass, better highs, better dispersion and are more than $100 less expensive. Superior performance at a reasonable price. We have had a couple people return their Bose system after hearing these side by side. Available in black or white and have matching in-wall versions.

Small speakers with a big punch! Genelec 6010 speaker and 5040A subwoofer for the discerning ear in a small room.
Episode
700 Series SystemTwo steps up from our entry level. Speakers that pack a big punch! This is our go to speaker for many installations. Available in in-wall, bookshelf, in-ceiling and tower models. Great sound, reasonably priced and fits a lot of decors. Beautiful gloss black finish. We compared the bookshelves with some audiophile friends to some Monitor Audio GS-10 bookshelves and it was unanimous the Episodes were better. Pretty Impressive considering the Episodes cost $600 per pair and the Monitor Audio's cost $1,600 per pair.
Triad SpeakersTriad has a model for just about every application. In the wall, in the ceiling, on the wall, hidden speakers, custom finishes. But the best part of it is they our best sounding speakers and we haven't found anything near their price range that even comes close.

The Monster!!! Genelec 1026A speaker and HTS6B subwoofer. This is extreme, if you want to have reference levels 50 feet away in rooms up to 30,000 cubic feet. This is your system. No regular home theater loud speaker I know of can power a room that size with crystal clear sound. The speaker is tough to tell from the picture but it is big! Over 3 feet tall, almost 4 feet wide and more than 2' deep and weighs more than 150 pounds. This doesn't go into your average living room, this is made to power a big area!
Specialty Speakers
