Screens are an important part of a projection system. There are different screens for various purposes. Some are brighter, some provide better blacks and contrast, others reject light not coming from the projector some allow speakers to be placed behind it. Picking a screen for yours situation will help provide the best viewing pleasure.
Da-lite JKP Affinity screens for a reference picture in a reference viewing environment. The smoothest material available provides a super crisp picture and has great uniformity so it doesn't have any hot spots or color shifting.
A multi-mask imager with JKP's progressive HD material is a killer combination.
Stewart Cabaret screen with Firehawk material. A great screen to be used in living room and other non-dedicated areas. It gives 25 percent more brightness than a standard white screen while lowering black levels to improve contrast. It also rejects ambient light. It comes in a many styles as either a fixed frame screen or an electric screen.
Dragonfly makes electric or framed screens. These are entry level screens and have different materials to work in a variety of room conditions. The bang for the buck of these screens have really impressed us.
