LG is a new name to many but they have been around a while and are the largest manufacturer of flat screens in the world. They make flat screens for many companies. They also bought Zenith to use their tuner technology for high definition. Zenith is the company which developed our high definition broadcast standard and the Zenith tuners are the best. LG is our favorite brand of TV. All of their models have the features and picture quality we look for in a television. Many of their models are THX and ISF certified to ensure a fantastic picture.
60PK950 60" Plasma. Plasma is still has the best picture quality for the price. You might find a high end LCD that can come close but you'll pay twice as much. This is one fantastic looking TV! THX and ISF certified.
47LX9500 47" 3D LED LCD. Pplasma is still better but LED LCD is very very close and much brighter. When viewing with a lot of light or daytime viewing LCDs are a better choice. The added brightness gives the picture a lot more 'punch' which is needed in brightly lit areas. This model is ISF certified and is a top performer for LCDs.
